sunDome001 is an immersive LED space that debuted at the Electromagnetic Field Festival - 2024. It was sited between the festival’s main music venue and the laser enhanced lake, providing visitors with a mellow space to socialise and relax.

The piece features 3600 addressable LEDs suspended in a skeletal arch and embedded inside of a four metre geodesic dome. The LEDs are driven by a Raspberry Pi playing back packet-captured Artnet traffic over a small network to a number of ESP-32 microcontrollers. The content featured a particle system generated using TouchDesigner.
